The new CORRUGATED sheetby PRONTOPANEL is a profiled sheet of pre-painted steel with corrugated geometry for multiple uses in roofing, facade, and partitions
The CORRUGATED sheetor TRAPEZOIDAL plate by PRONTOPANEL is ideal for solutions in roofing, ceilings, or partitions as a very cost-effective solution for buildings with no insulation requirements in industrial or agricultural use.
It is also used in sandwich-type panels ‘in situ’ with double corrugated sheet and intermediate insulation. It is common to use it for improving the insulation of existing steel or fibrocement roofs by installing battens and insulation to enclose the CORRUGATED sheet, allowing for a sandwich-type panel without prior disassembly.
Another option is to use it as a solution for small-scale construction, DIY, or do-it-yourself projects for building enclosures in sheds, pergolas, porches, parking areas, and garages.
The CORRUGATED sheet on the roof is achieved by overlapping the two adjacent plates laterally so that the first RIDGE of the second one overlaps the last RIDGE of the first one. They are secured to the load-bearing structure using self-drilling screws with EPDM washer.
For longer eaves, the downstream plate is installed first, and then the upstream plate is installed, overlapping the entire length of the ridges at the front. A minimum overlap of 200mm is recommended to ensure good waterproofing of the roof. This overlap should be increased for low-pitched roofs or in rainy areas.
For facade compositions, there is the option to request that the color be on the opposite side of the corrugation. The installation would be similar to the roof.
