3G Livestock Roof Sandwich Panel with Side Lap Flange, Corrugated Exterior Sheet, and Smooth Interior in FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic).
The new 3G Livestock Roof Sandwich Panel by PRONTOPANEL consists of an exterior steel sheet with a pre-coated finish in a choice of colors and a profiled design with 3 ribs, each 40 mm in height, which provides the panel with excellent mechanical strength. Inside, it contains a core of polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam with a density of 36-40 kg/m3, providing excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties to the panel. At the bottom, the standard metal finish of the roof panel is replaced with a flat sheet made of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester), which offers excellent resistance to corrosion that may be caused by certain industries or the vapors generated by the livestock inside the building.
The 3G Roof Insulation Panel for Farms is designed on its outer face with two ends, one with a full rib and the opposite with an empty rib, so that when installing one panel adjacent to another, the empty rib overlaps the full rib, creating a strong joint that ensures the system’s watertightness.
Its main advantages compared to other types of enclosures are:
- High chemical resistance to corrosive atmospheres that may occur inside the building.
- Simplicity and speed in installation (there is no need to create multiple functional layers to build the roof).
- Excellent insulation within the sheet itself, eliminating the need for intermediate insulation, as they are also available in thick layers of polyurethane foam.
- Lightweight system that allows for significant weight savings in the design of supporting structures, providing additional cost savings.
- Improved waterproofing and moisture resistance, as the panels have double protection with a watertight joint at the seam and an overlapping joint cover that conceals the seam from the outside. Additionally, the non-absorbent nature of both the exterior and interior sheets prevents the appearance of stains on the interior surface of the ceiling.
- High durability and low maintenance.
- Customized solution for all roof finishes, such as edges, gutters, ridges, valleys, etc., eliminating the need for on-site finishing, which can sometimes be poorly executed in traditional roofs.
The PRONTOPANEL 3G Sandwich Panel for Farms is ideal for roofs of buildings where the internal activities generate corrosive atmospheres, such as livestock farms or other types of industries, including chemical, food, or foundry.
The PRONTOPANEL 3G Agropanel Sandwich Panel is easy to install by aligning the panel with the previous panel in such a way that the panel’s outer flange fits over the rib of the previous panel. Next, the fastening is done through both panels, and optionally, a specific washer or capellotti can be used to further enhance the already good watertightness of the system.
In the case of long eaves, it is possible to install panels in multiple sections along the length of the eave. To do this, you will need to request that some of the panels have a lap tab. First, install the downstream panel, and then place the upstream panel with the lap tab so that it overlaps a portion of the downstream panel, creating an overlapping zone between the two. There is the possibility of supplying panels with longitudinal overlap upon request. Consult our installation manual available on this page.
For installation, auxiliary elements will be required for fastening, sealing, and finishing your roof. You can refer to the ‘Finishes and Accessories’ section for more details. For more information, consult the manual or send us your inquiry without obligation, and we will study the optimal solution for your roof.
The PRONTOPANEL 3G Sandwich Panel for Farms can be supplied in lengths of up to 16.40 meters.
We offer the same panel in various thicknesses, ranging from 30 to 100 mm. This way, we can adapt to the various insulation needs of the customer.
Exterior finish available in a wide range of colors.
Upon inquiry, it is possible to supply panels with longitudinal overlap directly from the factory.
TORNILLO
